Very nice Silver Plate, some plating wear on the bottom of the valve casings as well as the side of the third valve owner must have had an “acidic touch”. We’ve got another one! These serial numbers on these two LA Benge’s we own are very close to each other. Solid, clean pre-strike Elkhart model from the early 90’s.

Serviced and plays great! Collector’s item. This one is in excellent shape, not a lot of use on it beautiful silver plate, with a Gold-Wash bell, Gold top and and bottom caps, art deco engraving on bell, and a colorful design for the valve caps.

Lead pipe is very straight no dents or dings here. Working with one of the better dent removal technicians on the planet (no we cannot disclose who this, he is already busy enough!) The bell/body brace was resoldered on the bell side, brace off of lead pipe leading to 2nd valve resesoldered excellent work on both! No other dents or dings. Had some dent work done work done on the back of the bell running back, not around the bell flare, and second small slide again both done very well, not quite seamless but close. Much of the lqcquer then is missing on the entire bell, going all the way back around the back bow appears largely down to the bare brass. You might call this a “Player’s Horn” as it does have some significant lacquer wear, perhaps an enterprising young musician marched with it in the school band, the logo is sharp. Original case with original Bach New York 7C mpc (worn) $1250.īach Stradivarius Model 37, #186863 (1980) Lacquer No repairs done no dent work, no bell or bow trauma logo is sharp. Sharp engraving, appears original lacquer. Vernon, says on bell: “Mercedes Model…Vincent Bach Corporation…New York 67 USA”. Nice example of the valuable, “Early Elkhart” vintage, valued Model 37.
